Republic of Belarus Visa Application

For Estonian citizens
EU citizens can arrive in Minsk airport visa-free for 30 days (except people who is travelling from and to the airports of Russia).
In all other cases visa application in necessary.
Documents needed for Republic of Belarus visa application:
1) A valid original passport. A passport should have at least 2 blank visa pages. Term of validity of the document has to exceed the term of the requested visa for at least 90 days;
2) Filled in and printed out application form (the application form must be printed out on one paper and filled in on both sides of the paper). The application form must be filled in either in Russian or English languages;

3) Medical insurance certificate valid on the territory of the Republic of Belarus through the whole period of the visa. You can order an insurance certificate at our web page or at the office, when apply for the visa.;

4) One recent passport sized photograph of the applicant with a light background (sized 3.5 х 4.5 cm);

5) Filled in and written down applicant’s authorization to the name of the tourism company.
– AUTHORIZATION LETTER IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
6) For the children (under 18 years old) copy of the birth certificate in needed. If there is no information of the parents citizenship in this birth certificate, copies og their passports are needed.
Additional documents needed for a visa with a tourism purpose:
1) If You stay in the sanatorium: a copy of the letter of support, issued by the sanatorium with the stamps and signatures;
2) If You stay in a hotel: the booking confirmation from hotel with signature and stamp
3)For the tourist group visa  (for all the paticipants): the letter of support from the Belarusian tourist agency on the formal blank of the company with the stamps and signatures and contact details.

Additional documents for a visa with a business purpose:
1) Original formalized letter of support from the Belarusian institution/organization/firm with stamps and signatures on the official blank of the company with the full name (not abbreviation), address and contact telephone number
- FORMALIZED LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR A SHORT-TERM VISA (UP TO 90 DAYS)
- FORMALIZED LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR A LONG-TEMR VISA (UP TO 365 DAYS)
* the letter of support is obligatory for visas with a time period of more than 30 days
**the copy of the support letter is needed for the visas with a time period up to 90 days
***the original letter of support is necessary for the visas with a time period of more than 90 days
2) copy of the agreement (contract, the cooperation agreement) between the Belarusian institution/organization/firm and the Estonian one, with the signature and the stamp of the estonian side.
Documents needed for a transit visa application:
1)For transit visa: Place where you are travelling to (Name, Surname, Address, Phone number).
2)For the multiply transit visa the certain reason is needed.
Visa issuing time:
Visas with tourism purposes are normally issued in 4 work days (Urgent visas - in 2 work days);
Private, business and transit visas are normally issued in 8 calendar days (Urgent visas - in 2 work days).

Please notice that:
A migration card is filled in at the entrance to Republic of Belarus. The card must be submitted to the Belarus border officer when you enter and when you leave the country. Registration is obligatory if your stay in Republic of Belarus is longer than 30 calendar days.

Crossing the border of Russia and Belarus.
According to the Federal Law of Russia and Belarus, only citizens of their countries can cross border between mentioned countries. 
All other citizens can enter Russia or Belarus only through the international migration ports-of-entry. Otherwise it is considered that you have entered country illegally and you will be deported as soon as any police officer will check your documents. 
Please keep in mind that there are no international migration ports-of-entry between Russia and Belarus.
For Russian Federation citizens
Visa is not required.
The following documents are neede to enter Republic of Belarus:
1) An original passport valid for minimum 3 months upon the end of the trip.
2) Medical insurance to the whole period of the trip.

For stateless with Estonia residency (with undefined citizenship)
The conditions and prices are the same as for Estonian citizens (please look above).
